Building Skills, Shaping Leaders is a comprehensive initiative designed to elevate the confidence, leadership skills, and professional abilities of Black, Brown, and Biracial young women. This program aims to create a nurturing environment where participants can develop a strong sense of self, access mentorship, and acquire the tools necessary to thrive in academic, professional, and personal spaces. By fostering a community of empowerment and resilience, building skills, shaping leaders equips young women to overcome societal challenges, reach their goals, and lead with confidence. ​This program positions Building Skills, Shaping Leaders as a transformative initiative, allowing young Black, Brown, and Biracial women to shine, grow, and lead confidently.
Leading With Purpose
Leading with Purpose is a dynamic leadership development program designed to cultivate the leadership qualities of young women and provide them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to thrive as leaders in their communities. The program focuses on empowering young women, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to recognize their potential, build confidence, and develop the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact. ​Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on leadership experiences, participants will engage in activities that promote self-awareness, critical thinking, collaboration, and community engagement. The program aims to instill a sense of responsibility, inspire civic involvement, and foster a lifelong commitment to leadership.

Girls Just Wanna Have Funds
Girls Just Wanna Have Funds is an empowering program that provides young women with the tools needed to navigate their start to financial freedom confidently and clearly. This program focuses on equipping participants with practical skills for success in financial literacy while fostering personal growth and self-awareness. ​Through interactive workshops, banking exploration sessions, and one-on-one mentorship, participants will explore various financial options, set meaningful academic and professional budgeting goals, and develop a clear roadmap to achieve them. The program also emphasizes the importance of networking, leadership development, and balancing life priorities vs societal pressures to ensure a well-rounded approach to success. ​By the end of the program, participants will have a personalized plan that outlines their financial goals according to their career aspirations, concrete steps for achieving them, and a support system of mentors and peers to guide them along the way. The goal is to empower young women to take charge of their finances and become confident, successful leaders in their chosen fields.
Community Builders- A Lifelong Circle of Support
Community Builders - A Lifelong Circle of Support is designed to foster a deep sense of community among young women by creating a network that connects participants, mentors, and alumni. This program emphasizes the importance of building relationships that extend beyond the program's duration, creating a lifelong circle of support. Through structured mentorship, community engagement, and alumni involvement, the program aims to equip young women with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to thrive personally and professionally. Participants will work closely with community leaders, mentors, and peers to tackle real-world challenges while contributing to local communities.
The program encourages collaboration, leadership development, and mutual support, creating a lasting legacy that empowers each generation of young women to give back and uplift those who come after them. This program nurtures a lifelong network, encouraging participants to continuously contribute to their communities while drawing on the collective strength of the program’s network for their growth and support.
